In Lagos (Nigeria) on the 8th of November 2009, Paige Carlyle, a Director of Golf AutoScore NZ Ltd, signed the West Africa Reseller Contract with Deji Oguntonade, Soji Oguntonade, and Yemi Atanda of SugarAnt Technologies Ltd.
SugarAnt Technologies Ltd have been evaluating the Golf AutoScore product range for the last 5 months and with customers lining up it was appropriate for Paige to visit the market to see for himself the opportunities that exist. With more than 50 golf courses in the Nigerian market, and many more in the other 11 countries covered by the agreement, SugarAnt and Golf AutoScore agree that there are significant opportunities in the golfing sector in West Africa.
SugarAnt Technologies Limited (STL) is a privately owned limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria. To date it has a patent for a scratch card based declining balance account (KUZZAH) and has developed several bespoke applications for small and medium sized companies. The ownership is by Technopreneurs who have acquired over 30 years of technology know-how in banking, mobile payments, product development, sales and management experience in deploying technology based solutions in West Africa.
The company's strategic intent is to make best in class technology solutions available using the potential for security, customer convenience, flexibility and cost effectiveness as a common factor to drive productivity across various industry segments in Africa. This includes but is not limited to deploying solutions for the Recreation Sector (Golf), Healthcare, Banking, Education, Oil&Gas, Transportation and Security.
