"The Queensland Golf Union took on the Golf Autoscore System in 2003 to improve the delivery of its Championships. Since that time our expectations have been exceeded and it has now become an important and integral aspect of our golf operations.

"We introduced Golf Autoscore to our members in mid 2005, and thought
we'd be introducing the system in 2006. However, our members were so
impressed by the GAS features that they asked if it could be introduced
earlier. We subsequently went on line in late October 2005, and have
now processed over 30,000 rounds pretty much without a hitch. We use
the Video Leaderboard for all our competitions, including the 2006
Carrus Tauranga Open, and this particular feature is greatly
appreciated by players. The card reader is located in our main office,
and the economies in time and effort by using the reader for scorecard
processing have been a major bonus. Previously we have entered scores
manually hole-by-hole on a keyboard, taking around 10 seconds per card.
The GAS card reader takes around 1.5 seconds! A huge plus!..."
